The comments are also insightful, especially this conversation between the author and “firehacker”, which features a side-by-side comparison between a sample BASIC program and its exe form. Was all of this useful? Not at all! Because, spoiler, QuickBASIC 3 compiles programs in a totally different way than its follower!
